Paris in three days

Travel stories

paris monumentsHi guys! I’d like to leave you some pieces of organisational information about the three days I spent in Paris. I left on Friday night at 8.30 pm on a Ryan Air flight from Orio al Serio (Bergamo, Lombardy) to Paris Beauvais which I paid 116 €, double ticket and the 14€ for insurance coverage were included.

The flight began late but don’t worry! The bus in Paris that takes you to the Porte Maillot underground waits for the plan to arrive (it costs 26 €, double ticket).

travel to parisThis web link (http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com) lets you check the time according to your arrival at the Paris Beauvais Airport and you should consult it to see at what time you should go to Porte Maillot station for the return.

The undergrounds close after midnight so we went to the hotel by feet (2 km). The Pavillon Villiers Etoile hotel is 2 minutes far from Villiers underground and we booked our rooms there on this web site benefiting from the offer to stay for 3 nights paying just 2 of them (we paid 100€ or so each, with an abundant breakfast included).

Paris museumOur programme was intense and well organized considering we had little time and many things to see; if you are interested in it I can send you our programme which was drawn up by one of my travel mates.

In Paris we travelled by feet or by underground buying a 10,70 € carnet at an automat. The carnet consists of 10 tickets that you can share. The matrix is not bound to the carnet.
