It is 25 km far from the northeast of Paris and it extends on the Valle-Oise (Roissy-en-France), Seine-Saint-Denis (Tremblay-en-France) and Seine et Marne (Mauregard, Mesnil-Amelot and Mitry-Mory) départements. It extends on a 3,200 hectares wide area and 80,000 employees work there for more than 700 firms.
It is an airport that can expand itself more in the future thanks to the big area of the ground acquired during its construction.

CDG 2: 34,7 millions
CDG 3: 4,2 millions
More than 500,000 landings and take offs were registered on the platform for more than 53 millions passengers and 2,000 tons transferred in all, so an average of 114 passengers a plane.
Passengers traffic (local) in all Paris airports (Orly included) in 2003 concerned 56% Air France, 2.8% Corsairfly, 2.7% Easyjet, 2.3% British Airways, 2.1% Alitalia, 1.9% Iberia, 1.7% Lufthansa.
How to get to the airport:
Since its opening, the number of means to get to the airport is increased.
ROAD: (Car, taxi and bus).
A1 motorway, which links Paris to Lille, is next to and by a link road linked to the airport. It takes about 20 minutes or so to get to the airport from there.
RER: 2 TGV RER B-line to Paris.
TGV: the airport is linked to the northern high speed lines to Lille/London and southeast to Lyon/Marseille and the TGV ring road of Paris from Marne-la-Vallée and Massy-Palaiseau, to serve the Atlantic area.
BUS: Many lines link the airport to Paris.
There are free regular bus shuttle and a brand new underground to link the several terminals: CDGVal shuttle.
