Paris’ Stock Exchange, renamed Euronext Paris in 2000, is the French official stock market.
Negotiations are made in Palais Brongniart by auction or telematically. Palais Brongniart is a Corinthian style building where there are Paris’ Stock Exchange saloons. It is in Vivienne area, Paris area #2. Napoleon I commissioned the Palace in 1807 to architect Alexandre Théodore Brongniart, who died on June 6th,1813 before the building was finished. Napoleon himself laid the foundation stone of the building.
