It is a delightful trip in the history and in the novelty of the working techniques, from primordial instruments to modern machinery.
The visit starts from the underground station “Arts and Works” that serves the museum and it seems an underground nautilus evocating the seven fields of the permanent exposition, i.e. scientific instruments, materials, construction, communication, energy, mechanics and transports. In 1794 the Arts and Works Conservatory settles in the present scenario, which became the casket of the main experimentation tools thus bearing witness to human ingenuity. Today there’s something new in it and that’s a collection of more than 80000 amazing objects dating back from 17th century to nowadays.
